About
I’m Kari, a breast cancer survivor, qualified breathwork facilitator, certified and registered coach, and the founder of Breathe for Cancer™ and Breath in the Wild™.
My work is deeply personal.
Breathwork became a daily anchor for me during breast cancer treatment — a way to calm my body, steady my mind, and find moments of peace in the middle of uncertainty. It supported me not just through treatment, but through the physical and emotional recovery that followed.
What began as something I turned to for myself has become the work I now share with others.
I have trained in a range of breathwork modalities, including functional breathing, Conscious Connected Breathwork, and approaches informed by Soma Breath and Rewild Breathwork. My work is grounded in trauma-informed practice and nervous system awareness, allowing me to hold safe, supportive spaces for people at all stages of their journey.
Today, I guide cancer patients, survivors, and those navigating stress, burnout, or life transitions through gentle, trauma-informed breathwork experiences. My approach is rooted in meeting each person exactly where they are, with a focus on safety, regulation, and trust in the body’s own capacity to heal.
Alongside this, I created Breath in the Wild — small, intimate gatherings in nature where breath, sea, and open space come together to offer a deeper reset for the body and nervous system.
My work spans from simple breathing techniques for calm and regulation to longer, immersive journeys that support emotional release, resilience, and reconnection.
But at its core, it is simple:
the breath as a way to return to yourself.
There is no pushing here.
No performance.
Just space to soften, breathe, and feel held.
